Notes:
1. Comparisons based on design differences: vacuums with exhaust filters can release odors or microorganisms during use. Because Dyson machine has no exhaust filter, there is no re-emission from a filter. Tested against Staphylococcus Aureus and wet dog odour.
2. For use on hard floor only.
3. Tested externally at Intertek with a trained panel, participants used the machine on sealed wooden, tile, marble, and vinyl flooring types.
4. Compared to suction wet floor cleaners. Tested against a range of dry and wet debris simulating 5 years worth of use, self cleaning mode used as per manufacturers instructions. Pick up tested to Dyson internal method TM-100712.
5. Tested internally, average time for the participants to remove the debris tray from the cleaner head and tap out the dry debris.
6. Compared against top 5 brands globally, with top 3 dedicated floor washer models from those brands, from GFK, FEB, and Circana data from June 2024 to June 2025 tested internally to DTM021.
