The Dyson R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry Robot Vacuum 664879-01 combines powerful vacuuming, intelligent navigation and automated floor washing in one advanced robotic cleaning system. Designed to clean both carpets and hard floors, it automatically adapts its performance as it moves around your home, tackling everything from fine dust and pet hair to larger debris and everyday hard-floor messes.

Dyson’s Twin-Capture system combines a dedicated brush bar for larger debris with high-efficiency suction capable of producing up to 21,000Pa of suction pressure. A Piezo sensor continually monitors the amount of dust being collected and can automatically increase suction when it detects dirtier areas, helping provide a more thorough clean without requiring constant manual adjustment.

For hard floors, the R2 Nurovi uses distinctive Reuleaux triangular mop pads designed to reach more effectively into corners where conventional round pads can struggle. The robot’s anti-tangle edge sweeper can extend by up to 27mm to clean closer to walls, skirting boards and difficult edges. Its slim 96mm-high body also allows it to travel underneath compatible furniture and reach areas that can be awkward to clean manually.

Navigation is handled by high-speed LiDAR technology, which scans and maps your home to create efficient cleaning routes. The robot can identify different floor surfaces, avoid obstacles and navigate thresholds up to approximately 40mm high, helping it move between rooms with less intervention. Through the Dyson app, you can manage cleaning areas, schedules and other compatible settings from your smartphone.

The included docking station significantly reduces everyday maintenance. When cleaning is finished, the R2 Nurovi can return to the dock to empty collected debris, clean its mop pads, refill its water supply and recharge automatically. The dock stores dry debris for up to approximately 90 days depending on usage, while the mop pads are washed using water heated to 75°C and then dried with 45°C warm air to help reduce odours and keep them ready for the next clean.

The R2 Nurovi is also well suited to homes with pets. Its silicone chevron brush bar is designed to pick up and detangle hair, while whole-machine filtration helps capture fine particles during cleaning.
